SSM Music & Arts is a non-profit organization, which has been active since 2010 and has trained over a 1000 young people in playing classical music instruments. Our initiative introduces arts skills to young people from the age of 7 years. Prominent students proceed and join the SSM Youth Orchestra and the SSM Wind Band. Our performance ensembles participate in various events and projects.

The main objective of the programme is to make arts education accessible to an increasing number of young people in and around South Africa, especially those in disadvantaged areas. To date, we have impacted young people from areas such as Soweto, Johannesburg Central, Soshanguve, Embalenhle, Middleburg and Nelspruit.

Quality Training: Affordable and professional music instruments and arts training.

Employment: Creating jobs through performances and advocacy.

Development: Providing platforms to showcase talent and skills.
