Jozi My Jozi, together with the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) and committed Joburg corporates,who care about the city, are rolling out a hard‑hitting “adopt a robot” drive to keep the lights on, the queues moving and the streets safer when you’re trying to get from A to B. This is a way for businesses to step out of the boardroom and onto the street,  to put their name on a working intersection, keep the power on when the grid taps out, and help cut congestion and crashes on the routes their staff, customers and suppliers use every single day.

This programme gives organisations a direct, visible way to fix critical city hardware rather than just talking. By partnering with JRA to keep signals powered when the grid drops, sponsors help restore order at major junctions, reduce congestion, and make Jozi’s streets safer and smoother to move through every day.

We are dedicated to improving Johannesburg and invite businesses and individuals to join this effort. By adopting and maintaining traffic lights, we can reduce congestion, improve mobility, and create a safer, more efficient urban environment for all.
