We back after-school programmes that are already doing the work, then plug them into a bigger learning network.

Grounded in asset-based community development, we support 14 registered ASPs and respond directly to what managers, carers and communities say they need -  from financial literacy and centre management to 21st-century facilitator training.

As funding grows, we are building a network of digital hubs in the CBD and Soweto to bridge the tech gap for underserved learners. A new community-focused Tinkering, Robotics and Digital Literacy at Hub is also being developed at MES’s Dinaledi building in Hillbrow by Netstar. Partners are already using these spaces to run courses for learners and teachers.

Safe Study at Victoria Yards already shows what’s possible: young people trained as digital managers, data trackers and mentors, turning an after-school space into an engine of skills, jobs and hope, turning after-school time into a launchpad for future innovators.
