Jozi My Jozi supports NGOs in opening and strengthening shelters and drop-in centres in areas where homelessness is most visible. 

These centres provide safe overnight shelter, meals, ablutions and access to social services – the basics that make homelessness brief and non-recurring rather than a lifelong sentence. 

Jozi My Jozi is working with MES to develop Othandweni, a drop-in centre in Hillbrow, as a pathway hub linked to responsible giving. Additional sites will be identified and supported across the city over the coming year.
