In partnership with alliance partners, Jozi My Jozi embarked on a clean-up campaign of Hillbrow on 18 July 2024. Various corporates joined the campaign with an estimated number of +3000 participants. This initiative aimed to inspire residents to make ‘everyday a Mandela Day’.

Building on the success of this campaign various other clean-up initiatives have since started in the inner city, supported by local communities and corporates. The Gauteng Provincial Government has partnered with Jozi My Jozi and City of Joburg to embark on a bi-monthly clean-up campaign named CBD Fridays.
