We are working to improve the Safety and Accessibility in Jozi’s Gateways. A well-maintained urban environment is essential for both pedestrians and motorists. As part of our efforts to revitalise the city, we are focusing on:

Prioritising Pedestrian Safety & Accessibility – Repairing and maintaining sidewalks to ensure safe and accessible walkways for all. This will enhance mobility, particularly for the elderly, children, and individuals with disabilities.

Enhancing Road Safety & Vehicle Maintenance – Addressing potholes and damaged road surfaces to improve driving conditions and minimise accidents.

Infrastructure Repairs in Key Areas – Focusing on Gateways and other high-traffic zones in the inner city, ensuring these spaces are safe, functional, and welcoming.
