For World Homeless Day 2025, instead of another talk shop, Jozi My Jozi turned Constitution Hill into a one-day Dignity Boutique. The event, in partnership with MES, U-turn, WeThePeopleSA and the Constitution Hill Development Company, focused on restoring dignity in simple, practical ways.

People experiencing homelessness could get haircuts, clothing and help with ID applications – the basics that open doors to services and jobs. The Kudzo Foundation supported more than 100 people with ID processes, Trim Care Foundation gave 100 fresh cuts, and over 150 people selected full outfits, including shoes, from the clothing boutique. 

A panel discussion brought partners into one room to talk about collaboration rather than competition, exploring how the government, civil society and business can tackle homelessness together.
